Microsoft

About a month ago I did these cartoon characters based upon some members of the Microsoft company in Mexico. They used them to make stand up art displays during an event called "Geek Lunch 2". Here I show you some of the cartoons and photos of the event taken by Ale DM.

Hace un mes hice estos personajes caricaturizados basados en miembros de Microsoft México. Los utilizaron para hacer displays de arte para un evento suyo llamado "Geek Lunch 2". Aquí les muestro algunos personajes y fotos del evento tomadas por Ale DM.

Hey! I'd like to publicly thank MaulMaus for posting my Maul vs. Ventress fan art at their "Darth Maul Estrogen Brigade" site, I truly appreciate it.

Sketchy Doodles/Garabatos boceteados

Some doodles I did during some spare time. I was trying to loose my hand a little to achieve some squash and stretch effects. It was really fun to do.

Algunos garabatos que hice durante un tiempito libre. Traté de soltar la mano para lograr unos efectos de estiramiento y aplastamiento. Fue muy divertido hacerlos.

Exporobótica

Exporobotica's new site has just been uploaded. Though it's still under construction, you can already learn information about this event, which will be celebrated November 12th-15th at Mexico City's WTC.

The site's logo was done by Mauricio Cosío
While the six section's robot illustrations were inked by Alex Palomares and penciled and colored by me. If you wish to see the rest of the illustrations you can visit Exporobotica's site here You just need to navigate through the site's six different sections at the top.

Ya está la página de Expo Robótica, aunque todavía en construcción, ya pueden tener alguna info del evento que se celebrará del 12 al 15 de noviembre en el WTC de la Ciudad de México.

El logotipo corrió a cargo de Mauricio Cosío, los diseños de la mascota del evento fueron entintados por Alex Palomares y dibujados y coloreados por mí. Yoda

I think I haven't posted this one before, so I'll share it with you now. Some other fan art of another of my Star Wars favorite characters. The first image shows the process from pencil to inking (no digital work), and the second one I colored Yoda with Chartpak markers and the background was done digital.

Creo que no he posteado esto antes, así que se los comparto ahora. Más fan art de otro de mis personajes favoritos de Star Wars. La primera imagen muestra el proceso de lápiz a tinta (Sin trabajo digital), y el color de Yoda en la segunda está hecho con plumones chartpak y el fondo es digital.

Last weekend I was watching a TV special about Star Wars 40th Anniversary, and I just couldn't resist drawing these very quick sketches of one my favorite characters from this wonderful saga. XD

Well...he won't be exactly a caveman, but he's closely related to them. No digital work.

I really enjoy doing this concept art. I'll probably be posting one every week. Right now I'm doing some color work for a project which due to legal matters I can't show to you yet, but I hope I can share it with you in the future. So right now I'm only able to do these images at night when I get home he he. I hope you enjoy!

Realmente disfruto hacer este arte conceptual. Probablemente estaré mostrándoles uno cada semana.
